Agreement

By creating an account or using TruMac, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to use TruMac.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity on your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

Acceptable use

• Do not use TruMac to break the law.
• Do not attempt to bypass rate limits, reverse engineer the service, or scrape data you do not own.
• Do not upload content that is illegal or infringes others' rights.

Nutrition information disclaimer

TruMac provides estimates derived from product labels, barcodes, and AI analysis. It is not medical, dietary, or nutrition advice. Consult a qualified professional for decisions affecting your health.

Your content

You retain ownership of the content you submit (food logs, recipes, photos). You grant us a limited license to process it solely to operate the service. We do not sell your content, use it to train third-party models without your consent, or display it publicly.

Subscriptions

Paid features, if any, are billed through the platform you signed up on (Apple App Store, Google Play, or web checkout). Cancellation and refund policies follow the originating platform's terms.

Termination

You can delete your account at any time from the Settings screen. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or put the service at risk.

Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of your use of the service is limited to the greater of US $100 or the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Changes to these terms

We will update the "Last updated" date when these Terms change. Material changes will be surfaced in-app. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance.
